·         Bookings made via search engines are marked as pending confirmation until a confirmation email is received.

·         Full payment must be made before arrival.

·         Entertaining non-guests/outsiders is not permitted on the Bungalow premises.

By participating in any adventure activity organized or facilitated by Alwis Homestay (PVT) LTD, including but not limited to hiking, swimming, trekking, and inland tours, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

1. Assumption of Risk

Participants understand that adventure and outdoor activities carry inherent risks, including but not limited to:

·         Physical injury

·         Dehydration or exhaustion

·         Accidents due to terrain, weather, or personal fitness

·         Marine risks (e.g., strong currents, sharp rocks) during swimming activities

By joining, you voluntarily assume all such risks.

2. Health & Medical Clearance

·         You affirm that you are in good physical and mental health.

·         You have disclosed any medical conditions (e.g., asthma, heart problems, epilepsy) to our staff in advance.

·         You understand that our team is not responsible for any medical issues that may arise due to undisclosed conditions or personal negligence.

3. Safety Obligations

Participants agree to:

·         Follow all instructions provided by guides or staff

·         Wear required safety gear (e.g., life jackets, helmets)

·         Not participate under the influence of alcohol or drugs

·         Inform the guide immediately of any discomfort or injuries

Failure to comply may result in being excluded from the activity without refund.

4. Liability Waiver

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alwis Homestay(PVT)LTD , its staff, agents, and partners shall not be liable for:

·         Personal injury or death

·         Loss or damage to personal belongings

·         Any costs incurred due to trip delays or cancellations caused by weather or natural events

Participants agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the company from any claims arising from their participation.

5. Insurance

We recommend that all participants obtain personal travel and health insurance that covers outdoor adventure activities. We do not provide insurance coverage for participants.

6. Minors

Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who must also agree to these terms.

 

 

Breakages and Damages

·         You will be responsible for any breakages, losses, or damages caused by you or any party member during your stay at the accommodation. It is your responsibility to repair the damage or make full payment to the hotel before departure.

·         Additionally, you agree to indemnify us against any losses, damages, or claims made against us as a result of such breakages, losses, or damages.
